Strength & Grace for Active Older Adults

Rediscover enjoyment in movement by working on strength, mobility and balance! This gentle, low-impact class will help you improve your posture, strength and coordination, while emphasizing functional movements for everyday tasks. Receive instruction, motivation and support from a highly experienced Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor on how to maintain proper form while engaging in easy to follow exercises. Fitness is attainable, often leads to a sense of well-being and can be fun!

By integrating mindful stretching and steady resistance movements, we ensure that your body feels energized rather than exhausted. Every session is an opportunity to tune into your body’s needs, celebrate small victories, and develop the stability necessary to move through the world with ease and safety.

More about Lisa

I'm a Group Fitness instructor & Certified Personal Trainer with 20 years of experience providing fitness classes/sessions. I developed an appreciation for fitness as a former competitive gymnast and ice show skater. I love helping older adults stay active and helping their balance, mobility and strength in any stage of their lives. I strongly believe that physical fitness should be available to everyone at an affordable price and in the convenience of their own home. I feel blessed having this wonderful job and find myself smiling every time I teach.

  • Set of Light dumbbells/weights (1-3 lbs.)
  • Chair
  • Exercise handle band (recommended, not required)
  • Small exercise ball (about 8-9" recommended)
  • Note: a small couch cushion/pillow can be a sub
